Hosta Eye Declare reaches 16"-18" in height with an eventual spread of 28"-36". The brightest coloured Hosta in springtime. This midsized specimen has rounded leaves that are bright yellow in spring, with a streaky dark-green margin, becoming more chartreuse in summer. Lavender flowers emerge from darker buds on 30" scapes in July/August. Protect from hot afternoon sun to prevent scorching. Need to add some contrast to your garden – Eye Declare will do the job wonderfully. Not slug resistant but rarely seems to get attacked. Morning sun is OK, but ensure no midday or afternoon sun. I wouldn't be without this one. Looks amazing in a container on its own.
