Hosta Calypso forms a miniature mound that reaches a height of 15cm-20cm and can spread up to 45cm at maturity. It features a distinctive white leaf centre with deep green margins infused with chartreuse. The leaves are narrow, with pointed ends that retain their white colour, accented by dark green edges and hints of chartreuse throughout the growing season. Hosta Calypso is considered one of the finest small, white-centred Hostas available on the market. In June and July, this variety produces spikes of violet flowers on 30cm scapes. It is an excellent addition to any Hosta collection and is fertile, making it suitable for use in breeding programmes
