Hosta El Nino will form a medium mound approximately 38cm to 45cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. This compact, mounding, upright Hosta features striking, intense blue-green leaves with yellow margins in spring that transition to pure white in summer. The plant remains visually appealing from emergence until the first frost at the end of the season. Lavender flowers appear on short, 65cm scapes from mid-June through mid-August. Hosta El Nino is a superb medium-sized, variegated, slug-resistant Hosta that tolerates sun exposure and thrives in containers. It has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
