Hosta Emerald Ruff Cut will form an upright, medium to large clump of 20"-26" in height, with a spread of up to 30", at maturity. It is one from the most beautiful Hostas. In the spring, bright greenish-golden yellow to yellow-green leaves have darker, very irregular edges. Becoming corrugated and quite narrower leaves are strongly curled on the edges. Hosta Emerald Ruff Cut requires a bit more light. In the shadow creates a sparse clump. Pale lavender flowers appear on scapes of up to 30", in July. It will tolerate some sunshine and will benefit from it, but not slug resistant.
