Hosta Feather Boa, will form a strong growing miniature mound of 10"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. Bright yellow, wavy margins, lance-shaped, sharply pointed leaves of around 3"-4" long, reasonable substance, rapid grower. Hosta Feather Boa is a seedling of Hosta Subcrocea with very ruffled foliage. Like all the miniatures is best in a container display, but can be planted out in a well maintained border. Lavender flowers with purple stripes held on 20" scapes, contrast well with the yellow foliage, from July to August. Vigorous mound of ruffled yellow foliage. This little miniature is sun tolerant but not very slug resistant.
