Hosta Formal Attire will form a substantial mound, reaching a height of 60cm-75cm and spreading up to 150cm at maturity.  The large leaves of dark green with cream margins, exhibit a pleasing crinkly texture and have wide margins that transition from cream to white over time. It forms a relatively open and broad clump. During July and August, pale lavender flowers bloom on scapes that reach 100cm in height. This Hosta is slug resistant and sun tolerant.
