Hosta Frances Williams will form a large mound of 24"-28" in height with a spread of uop to 40" at maturity. One of the most popular Hostas ever introduced. Hosta sieboldiana Frances Williams is a large veriegated Hosta with thick, puckered, strongly veined, broadly heart-shaped, blue-green leaves 12" long, widely & irregularly margined, greenish-yellow, gradually maturing to creamy-beige. Funnel-shaped near white to pale lavender blooms appear in early to mid-summer on tall 32" scapes, but the primary contribution of this Hosta is its lovely foliage. Slow to establish, this magnificemnt Hosta look well in containers as it does in the border. Sunstantial foliage makes it slug resistant, in the main, as well as being sun tolerant.
