Hosta Ice Follies will form an open arching medium mound of 21"-24" tall, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. This is a showier sport of the classic Hosta 'Antioch' with thicker leaves and wider cream margins. One of the best variegated Hostas on the market today. The leaf margins emerge cream and season to white in summer. The white margin bleeds into the green centre creating a grey-green overlay. The colour contrast of green with bright white margins shines in the garden. The long pointed leaves quickly form a medium sized mound with good growth rate.  Pale lavender flowers appear on long scapes of up to 30" in summer. Those wide white margins. Great colour contrast. Sun tolerant, but not slug reistant.
