Hosta Lakeside Cupcake will form a small to medium mound of just 12"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. It has nearly round, slightly cupped leaves. Leaves emerge in the spring to form a nice small mound of thick leaves with gold centres and a blue-green margin. The centres season to white, and a green streak forms where the centre meets the margin. These Hostas have pale lavender flowers on 20" scapes in summer. Seems to be both resistant to slugs & snails as well as being fairly sun tolerant
