Hosta Lakeside Spellbinder will form a medium-sized mound measuring 50cm-70cm in height, with a spread of up to 140cm at maturity. Initially, the foliage appears blue, which quickly develop rich yellow centres that improve with as the season progresses. Eventually, the leaves turn shiny dark green, and the centres become pure white. A lighter green hue streaks where the centre and margin overlap. Hosta Lakeside Spellbinder produces near-white flowers on 90cm scapes in July. Its robust substance makes it slug resistant and sun tolerant.
