Hosta 'Little Treasure' forms a miniature mound of just 4"-6" tall and a spread of up to 12" at maturity. This is a sport of 'Little Jay' with wider blue-green margins. Thick, spear shaped, white leaves are slightly wavy and have a wide blue-green margin. The colouring is quite unique. The inside of the leaf is a creamy white, with blue or green edges. Some tend more toward blue while others appear more green. The margin is tetraploid with the rest of the leaf being diploid. What that means for the non-plant geeks is that this is a better grower than its parent plant. Lavender flowers appear on 12" sacpes in mid-summer. Expect it to spread underground a little. Can be used at front of borders if not too sunny. Not slug resistant. Great in a container amongst other miniatures.
