Hosta Spartacus forms an attractive dome-shaped mound of 16"-18" in height with a spread of up to 40" at maturity. A large mound of heart-shaped, deeply veined, mid-green leaves adorned with bright golden-yellow margins. Illuminating the shade garden, the foliage is elegantly topped with pale purple flowers are borne on 36" aching scapes in mid summer. It is reputed to be slug resistant and will tolerate a lot of sun.
