Hosta Stiletto is a compact, miniature perennial, forming a low, 8" tall & 16" wide, cascading mound of lance-shaped, rippled, satiny, dark olive green leaves adorned with narrow creamy-white margins. Slightly arching, the thin leaves are prominently veined. Bell-shaped purple-striped flowers appear in summer rising on scapes 18" long or so. Fast growing. Stiletto is an ideal edging plant along borders and pathways. Great as a groundcover specimen. An easily grown variety that seem at home in most sites. Partially sun tolerant if kept moist, but not slug resistant.
