Hosta White Dove is another very rare Herb Benedict plant that never really made it into the trade. Especially nice pure white margins once it loses it's early-spring color. Clump size will be 14" tall & 20" or so wide, when mature. White Dove features 20" tall, but dainty spikes of white flowers rising above glossy narrow bluish-green leaves with distinctive white edges that are slightly rippled and are narrow and arching. Real showy clump for edging, container or small specimen in the mini hosta garden. It tends to grow at a fairly slow rate to start with, but picks up a little later. Will tolerate earlymorning sun but keep away from any long-lasting intense sunshine. Not very slug resistant as leaves are quite thin.
