Hosta Rainforest Sunrise will form a small to medium sized mound, compact, slightly upright, reaching a height of just 10"- 12" or so, with a spread of up to 16", at maturity. It has thick, oval, very cupped, prominently veined leaves of chartreuse to yellow, with dark green wide outer margins. The contrast between the bright centre and the dark green outer margins is particularly lovely as it resembles a hand painted picture. Thick & glossy, the leaves hold up well all season. In June and July, upright 24" high, stalks carry fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers of the palest lavender – almost white.  It is sun tolerant and is also slug resistant.
