Hosta Royalty forms a small to medium mound of 10"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 24" at maturity. It has old-gold leaves that form a many-pointed crown, of greenish yellow, narrow, leaves with a wavy edge. A fairly upright growth form with lavender flowers held well above the foliage by green scapes to double the height of the crown late in the summer. An easy to grow Hosta with few difficulties. Not at all sun tolerant and does suffer with slugs, being one of the earliest ever attacked.
