Hosta Sweet Home Chicago forms a nice medium sized, about 18"-20" tall with a spread of 34"-36". It forms a mound of gold-centered foliage that contrasts nicely with the wide blue-green margin. Leaf center emerges chartreuse and brightens to gold especially when grown in some sun. Leaves are broadly ovate, almost heart-shaped. Vigorous grower that can make a good border plant. Lavender flowers on long 30" scapes in summer. Not slug resistant and not particularly sun tolerant, but does benefit from some sun.
