Hosta Gabriel's Wing forms a substantial upright mound, reaching a height of 70cm-80cm with a spread of up to 158cm at full maturity. This variety is a yellow-margined sport of the renowned Hosta Empress Wu, featuring slightly cupped green leaves with an attractive yellow margin. The brightness of the margin increases when grown in more light, and the creamy yellow margins retain their colour well into the season. This variety is both slug resistant and tolerant of full sun. In early summer, pale lavender flowers appear on long scapes that can grow up to 115cm tall. An impressive size and striking colour contrast.
