Hosta Big Mama will form a substantial mound, reaching heights of 75cm-90cm and spreading up to 150cm at maturity. It features large, dark green/blue leaves that are rounded, ridged, and slightly puckered when mature. The leaves are thicker and more rigid compared to its parent, Hosta Blue Angel. In mid-summer, it produces lavender flowers on tall spikes, reaching heights of 120cm. Ensure to allocate ample space for this plant, as once established, it grows rapidly. It is resistant to slugs and can tolerate partial sun, although it thrives in shaded areas.
