Hosta Chariots of Fire will form a medium mound of 16"-20" in height, with a spread of up to 42" at maturity. It has mid-green leaves with a thin white margin with a slight ripple. Leaves start light green with yellow margins but turn more green with white margins as summer progresses. There are greyish-white streaks where the centre colour and margin overlap. The leaves are held on red petioles but this can only be seen when it emerges. Vigorous grower that forms a nice medium sized clump. Purple flowers bloom on deep red scapes of up to 40" tall from late August into September.
