Hosta Chopsticks forms a small to medium mound, reaching a height of 40cm-45cm, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. It has medium green leaves that are slightly wavy and cupped at the base. It is upright in habit, almost vase-shaped, which helps show off the very long red petioles and lovely white undersides of the leaf. The red from the petioles bleeds into the midrib of the leaf blade. Bluish purple flowers appear very late in the season, held on 60cm tall, Purple scapes. Registered sun tolerant but does like to be in bright shade.
