Hosta Mini Skirt is a distinguished miniature plant that forms a mouse-like mound reaching a height of 15cm-22cm and spreading up to 40cm at maturity. Known for its exceptional appeal, this Hosta variety features compact mounds of waxy, blue-green leaves bordered by wide, creamy-yellow margins. As the season progresses, the leaf centres turn increasingly green while the edges lighten to a creamy white hue. In early to mid-summer, lavender flowers with deeper purple stripes emerge on short scapes approximately 30cm tall, gracefully rising above the foliage. It is slug resistant and sun tolerant. It has received the American Hosta Growers Association Hosta of the year 2024 Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
