Hosta Minor develops into a miniature, compact plant reaching a height of 10cm-15cm and spreading up to 50cm at maturity. It features small green leaves with wavy margins and produces violet to purple flowers with internal striping. These flowers are positioned well above the foliage on 60cm scapes from June through August. This variety is known for its vigorous growth and can be divided every 2-3 years. When planted in mass, the profusion of purple flowers creates a visually striking display. Despite the leaves not being particularly substantial, this variety tolerates sun exposure and demonstrates resilience against slugs.
