Hosta School Mouse forms an attractive miniature mound measuring approximately 20cm to 30cm in height, with a spread of up to 36cm at maturity. This variety, a sport of Hosta Church Mouse, retains all the excellent characteristics of its parent but features a distinct yellow margin. The thick, coarsely wavy leaves display blue green to green centres with creamy yellow margins that maintain their colour consistently throughout the season. In early summer, proportionate scapes of 36cm, slightly above the foliage, bear lavender flowers. This plant boasts good resistance to slugs and is an exceptional choice for troughs due to its sun tolerance. It is a noteworthy addition to the expanding Mouse family of Hostas.
