Hosta Undulata Albomarginata will form a loose medium sized mound of about 14"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 40", at maturity. One of the earliest Hostas to show signs of growth in the spring. It has been one of the most commonly planted Hosta for the last hundred years. The dark green leaves of a young Hosta Undulata Albomarginata are thin and smooth, but it develops a slight corrugation as it matures and the white margins seem to blend into the green, creating a very pretty effect. Pale laveder flowers are borne on scapes of 30" tall, in July to August. This Hosta produces a lot of flower scapes but doesn't form seed pods. Not slug resistant but can take a little sun, but registered as non sun tolerant.
