Hosta Wu-La-La forms a substantial mound reaching heights of 85cm-95cm, with a spread extending up to 165cm or more at maturity. This cultivar, derived from Hosta Empress Wu, enhances the prominent size and presence of its predecessor with an eye-catching margin. The blue-green leaves feature striking apple-green margins and possess excellent substance. Similar to Hosta Empress Wu, it requires approximately five years to attain full maturity and size. Upon reaching this stage, the plant's impressive dimensions will undoubtedly attract attention. Purple flowers emerge on scapes measuring 125cm tall, typically in July and August. This variety showcases a very large mound adorned with enormous, variegated leaves, making it a superb addition to any garden. It is resistant to slugs and tolerates partial sunlight.
