Hosta Zucchini Fries will form a compact clump reaching a height of 20cm-30cm with a spread of up to 55cm at maturity. It is characterised by exceptionally long, narrow blue-green leaves with heavily rippled margins. The undersides of the leaves display a purple blush during spring emergence, while the leaf petioles and flower scapes are dark red. In mid-summer, purple flowers appear on scapes measuring up to 50cm in height. The name Hosta Zucchini Fries is fitting, as the leaves are both elongated like French fries and green similar to zucchini.
