Hosta Karin will form a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 70cm-80cm with a spread of up to 130cm at maturity. Discovered in Holland, Hosta Karin is a reverse of Hosta Anne. The foliage of this variety is characterised by very dark black-green leaves surrounded by a wide creamy gold border. In mid-summer, the 90cm wide clumps are adorned with 60cm tall stalks bearing light lavender flowers. This Hosta is slug resistant and sun tolerant.
