Hosta Karin will form a medium mound of 28"-32" in height with a spread of up to 52" at maturity. Discovered in Holland, Hosta Karin is a reverse mutation of Hosta Anne, which itself is a tetraploid mutation of Hosta Fortunei Aureomarginata. The very dark black-green foliage is surrounded by a wide creamy gold border. The 3' wide clumps are topped in mid-summer with 24" tall stalks of light lavender flowers. Slug resistant and sun tolerant.
