Hosta Lakeside Meter Maid will form a medium sized mound of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. It is a lovely sport of Hosta Summer Music, with darker green margins and a better growth rate. Dark green surrounds a nice cream centre. A third light green colour jets between the margin and leaf centre. Centre of the leaf will be white in summer. Pale lavender flowers on 24" scapes, from July into August. A vigorous grower with attractive leaves. The strong substance assures its endurance in the hottest weather, and its resistance to those pesky slugs. When established, it makes a truly stunning clump of fabulously coloured leaves, fit for any garden.
