Hosta Appletini will form a miniature mound of just 4"-6" in height, with a spread of up to 14" at maturity. This is a cute little Hosta, with bright yellow, wavy, smooth-textured leaves that change to apple-green by summer. Ideal for a shady rock garden, border edge or in troughs. Clumps may be easily divided in the spring or autumn. Leaves of good substnce mean that Hosta Appletini is not really attacked by slugs & snails. Not really sun tolerant but needs early morning sun to keep the yellow elements in the leaves. Non-scented, pale purple, flowers appear on scapes of up to 14" in July & August.
