Hosta Chris' Little Watermelon will form a small mound of 20 - 30 cm in height, with a spread of up to 55 cm at maturity. It has long narrow, pointy green leaves held on red petioles with a wavy growth habit. This is a sport of Hosta Chris' Little Jewel by Christina Brinkmann from Gütersloh, Germany. Lavender flowers in summer held on red scapes of up to 60 cm. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
