Hosta Rock Island Line will form a small mound approximately 15cm-20cm in height with a mature spread of up to 30cm. This vigorous Hosta features green leaves with a thin white margin and creates a dense mound of slightly shiny foliage. The leaves are shiny on top, flat, ovate, and rounded at the base. It is an excellent choice for a miniature garden, being easily grown and maintained. Almost white, sometimes very pale lavender flowers appear on long green scapes reaching up to 45cm, well above the foliage, in mid-summer. This plant is quite impressive, especially when in full bloom, at maturity. It has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
