Hosta Dress Blues forms a medium to large sized mound of 22"-26" in height with a spread of up to 40" at maturity. It has blue leaves that have a thin creamy-white margin. Leaves are very blue in spring with yellow margins but fade to blue-green and cream by mid-summer. The leaves on this hosta seem to spill over each other like a fountain. Leaves are held upright on petioles with a slight tint of red at the base. Lavender flowers on 36" scapes in mid-summer. A vigorous grower with attractive foliage. Slug resistant and sun tolerant.
