Hosta Hi-Class will form a medium-sized mound of 45cm-55cm in height and up to 95cm in width at maturity. This Hosta features exceptionally thick leaves that cup slightly, with a smooth surface. The deep green foliage displays a blue tint during the spring and is bordered by a wide, prominent margin. Hosta Hi-Class forms an elegant, high-contrast, semi-upright clump that effectively showcases the leaves. In the summer, the leaf centres turn to dark green while the margins turn whiter. The plant maintains its attractive appearance until the first frost. Lavender flowers are held on scapes of up to 80cm in July, and continue into August. The thick leaves help it to be slug resistant and sun tolerant although it thrives best in partial shade.
