Hosta Minke will form a stately, large clump, reaching approximately 105 cm to 125 cm in height, with a spread of up to 160 cm at maturity. It exhibits robust growth from the onset. This Hosta is characterised by its large size, upright posture, very strong grey-blue thick leaves, and narrow yellow margins. The plant produces lavender to nearly white flowers on spikes that can reach about 165 cm tall, blooming from June to July. Hosta Minke bears a little resemblance to Hosta Sagae. Hosta Minke is slug resistant and sun tolerant.
