Hosta Vanilla Cream will form a miniature mound measuring approximately 10cm-15cm in height, with a spread reaching up to 50cm when fully mature. This plant features a mound of wavy, ovate to heart-shaped, cupped, and wrinkled leaves that transition from bright chartreuse to pale gold as they age. It is renowned for its reliability and versatility, requiring minimal care. Primarily cultivated for its attractive foliage, which adds colour, contrast, and texture to landscapes, its dense leaves effectively suppress most garden weeds. During June and July, the plant produces loose racemes of fragrant, funnel-shaped lavender flowers on arching scapes, lightly spotted with red, standing at 30cm tall—offering a striking visual contrast. The Hosta Vanilla Cream is both sun-tolerant and resistant to slugs, making it an excellent choice for collectors. It is undoubtedly one of the finest miniature gold Hostas available on the market today.
