Hosta Bashful will form a small clump of 10-15cm in height, with a mature spread of up to 30cm. A very interesting variety with cream and green mottled leaves. Later in the season the leaves are more solid green. The green will slowly become more prominent but newer flushes of leaves will be lighter and misted.  This unique hosta is perfect for collectors and Hosta newbies alike. Fairly easy to grow keep in a position with a good mix of shade and sun for best colouration. Too much sun and the leaves become washed out, not enough sun and the colourations are less pronounced. It produces almost white, to pale lavender flowers, held on 30cm cream scapes, during summer, and grows in sun and shade.
