Hosta Tick Tock will form a striking, small compact, mound of 15cm-20cm in height, with a spread of up to 45cm at maturity. This Hosta is a variant of Hosta Gold Drop, featuring gold, heart-shaped leaves with blue-green margins. The centre colour changes from chartreuse in shaded conditions to bright gold when exposed to morning sun only. It resembles a miniature Hosta June, but without a wax layer. It displays good vigour and retains its appearance well into autumn. During midsummer, it produces abundant lavender flowers on 50cm scapes, with a tendency to rebloom later in the season. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
