Hosta Black Hills will form a large mound of 24"-26" in height, with a spread of up to 52", at maturity. The leaves are very dark green, cupped, and very heavily puckered. The colour and texture make it an outstanding specimen. Leaves emerge with a glaucous coating giving the clump a blue-green look. Leaves will be shiny dark green by mid-summer. The cupping of the leaves helps to show off the white backsides. Heavily-textured foliage is sure to make an impression! Outstanding specimen hosta. Lavender flowers appear in June on scapes of up to 42" in length.
