Hosta Purple & Gold will form a small mound of 8"-10" in height, with a spread of up to 18", at maturity. A fast grower, it has narrow golden leaves, with beautiful purple-red flower scapes, about 16" long, contrasting nicely with the golden foliage. Atop of these come purple flowers in June & July. There is no better contrast than the yellow foliage and purple flowers. Sadly not slug resistant, or sun tolerant.
