Hosta Summer Music will form a medium sized mound of about 15"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 48", at maturity. This is a dramatic cultivar with many similarities to Hosta Colour Festival. This Hostas leaves, sport a variably wide central splash of chartreuse which bleaches out white as the leaf matures. This is surrounded by a border of mixed greens. Leaves develop seersuckering with age and have a nice twist to the shape. A variety that benefits from good moisture and adequate light to produce good colour and prevent scorching. Even though the leaves are of good substance it may need slug protection. A Hosta with pale lavender flowers held on tall 36" scapes, in in June & July.
