The Hosta Bob Deane develops into a medium-sized mound, attaining a height of 35cm-45cm with a spread up to 115cm at full maturity. It is characterized by blue-green, heart-shaped leaves adorned with a ruffled creamy-yellow margin. This variety is renowned for its vigorous growth. During July and August, it produces nearly white flowers on scapes that can extend up to 75cm. The thick leaves of this variety give a resilience against slug damage.
