Hosta Krossa Regal forms a large mound ranging from 45cm to 90cm in height, with a spread of up to 170cm at maturity. This process may take around 3-4 years or longer. It is recognized as a well-known variety among Hostas. This sizable grey-blue Hosta creates a vase-shaped mound that expands over time. The blue-green leaves are slightly corrugated, widely veined, and have a glaucous-frosty appearance. Hosta Krossa Regal serves as an excellent specimen plant and performs well in containers. Light shade is recommended to maintain its blue colouring. It is also resistant to slugs. Nearly white flowers appear in August on scapes reaching up to 150cm. It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
