Hosta Cool as a Cucumber will gradually form a medium mound approximately 65cm-75cm in height, with a spread of up to 125cm at maturity. While it bears some resemblance to its parent, Hosta Cascades, with wider green edges, this variety exhibits superior growth and performs better as a garden plant. It features lanceolate, drooping foliage with a white centre and dark green margins, highlighted by paler green darts into the white. The flowers, which are nearly white, & bloom on 100cm scapes in July. It is considered a rewarding addition to gardens.
