Hosta Cranberry Wine will form a small mound of 10"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 22" at maturity. Bright gold leaves in spring are thick and rubbery with elegant ruffled margins.
Leaves are medium green by mid summer but still look graceful, all year, in the shade garden.
Striped purple flowers shine on cranberry coloured, 24" scapes in July & August. Grown for its thick rubbery leaves, red scapes that hold beautiful purple flowers. Lovely shiny rippled green leaves and a deep purple red leaf stem. A bright location will hold the gold colour longer into the season. Reasonably slug resistant.
