Hosta Cranberry Wine will form a compact small to medium mound, reaching a height of 25-35 cm and a spread of up to 55 cm at maturity. In spring, its bright gold leaves are thick and rubbery with elegant, ruffled margins. By mid-summer, the leaves transition to a medium green while maintaining their graceful appearance throughout the year. During July and August, striped, purple flowers emerge on cranberry-coloured scapes that reach up to 60cm. Additionally, it features glossy, rippled green leaves and deep purple-red leaf stems. A bright location will help retain the gold colour of the leaves longer into the season. This Hosta is slug resistant.
