Hosta Effervescence will form a small mound of 10"-12" in height, with up to 20" in width at maturity. It is a bubbly, brilliant yellow, with glitzy, pointed, ruffled leaves. A good grower that forms a small, but lively and attention-grabbing clump. An absolute stunner. A yellow version of Hosta Skywriter, with beautiful wavy margins. Lavender flowers appear on scapes of up to 20" tall, around July & August. Will take a little early morning or afternoon sun, but not slug resistant. A rarely found variety in the marketplace.
