Hosta Fruit Punch forms a medium-sized mound reaching 30cm-40cm in height and spreading up to 90cm at maturity. Its leaves emerge bright gold in spring, held on speckled-red petioles, and transition to chartreuse in summer. This variety is distinguished by its attractive foliage featuring red petioles and rippled leaf margins. The watermelon-red petioles support vibrant lemon-yellow leaves edged in blackberry during the spring season. Hosta Fruit Punch is a vigorous grower and will exhibit more green hues as the season progresses. This variety should be in dappled shade only. The plant produces dark purple flowers, which contrast beautifully with the yellow foliage, on 65cm scapes in July and August.
