Hosta One Man's Treasure will form a medium-sized Hosta, typically an arching mound approximately 30cm-40cm in height and can spread up to 80cm wide at maturity. This Hosta is particularly noted for its striking, burgundy-spotted leaf petioles, and it also exhibits intriguing burgundy to purple colouration in its leaf bases, flower scapes, flowers. The wide-oval, glossy green leaves with heart-shaped to open bases are complemented by showy petioles. In late summer, bell-shaped violet flowers emerge on leafy, burgundy-red scapes that rise above the foliage mound to a height of 60cm. This Hosta is slug resistant and sun tolerant. Hosta One Man's Treasure and has received recognition from the American Hosta Society with the Distinguished Merit Hosta award 2008.
