Hosta Gold Edger will form a small hosta to 10"-12" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. Featuring a mound of flat, heart-shaped, chartreuse to gold leaves and racemes of bell-shaped, lavender flowers. A dependable and versatile Hosta, requiring little care. Grown primarily for its beautiful foliage which provides colour, contrast and texture to the landscape. This cultivar is a rapid grower and is very sun-tolerant. Hosta Gold Edger forms a perfect dense mound of nice golden foliage. Leaves emerge chartreuse and brighten as the season progresses. If planted in some bright sun the clump will become a brilliant yellow color. Like the name implies, Gold Edger makes a great border plant for the edge of the shade garden. A mass of pale lavnder flowers are held on scapes of up to 18 in height, from mid June through to mid August.
