Hosta Gold Edger will form a small to medium-sized mound, reaching 25cm-30cm in height with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. It features flat, heart-shaped chartreuse to gold leaves and bell-shaped lavender flowers. The leaves start as chartreuse and become brighter over time. When planted in bright sunlight, the clump can turn a brilliant yellow colour. As suggested by its name, Gold Edger is suitable for the edge of a border. From mid-June to mid-August, it produces pale lavender flowers on scapes up to 45cm tall. Hosta Gold Edger grows quickly to create a dense mound of golden foliage that is resistant to slugs and tolerant of sunlight. Note: Miniature Hostas should be potted in well-draining compost.
