Hosta Gold Haze will form a medium mound of 21"-24" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. A lovely yellow variety of which the leaves start more chartreuse at the beginning of the season and get progressively more gold through the Summer. Leaves emerge citric yellow from red buds with a green cast gradually spreading from the petiole to cover the whole leaf. It has a lovely graceful habit. It will generally retain it vibrant yellow leaf colour until the first frost, at least in the UK. It will produce Lavender flowers, during June & July, held on tall scapes of up to 36". Not sun tolerant for a yellow Hosta and not slug resistant.
